Northwest Local Schools provide an excellent education for the young people of our community. This has been our tradition since our inception. We don’t need the folks in Columbus to tell us we are excellent, but I am pleased to say that they have, indeed, rated us EXCELLENT once again. Our goal is to provide stellar education to our students to make sure that they can excel beyond their years at our schools. We work very hard on a daily basis to ensure that we are preparing our students to compete in the world of the future, a world that does not exist today. We do this by creating a safe learning environment, setting high expectations and providing numerous opportunities for all students.
Additionally, the district finances are stable. This is a direct result of the partnership that exists between the school district and the members of the Northwest Community. As the superintendent of the district, I wholeheartedly thank the community for supporting our schools and I encourage you to continue to contribute your thoughts and ideas to the school board and the administration.
I am extremely excited about the opportunity to serve the Northwest Community as Superintendent of Schools. I am a Stark County native and I come to you with nearly twenty years of educational administration both in Florida and Ohio. Educating our young people is not an easy task. It will take all of us working together to bring the best for our future—our children. Please know that I am open to your thoughts and concerns. Thank you for being a partner in the education of our young people.
