From Toledo, Ohio:
Take I-280 South to Exit 1A the Ohio Turnpike, get on the Turnpike I-80/90 East, exit the Turnpike at exit 118 Rt. 250 Sandusky. Take Rt. 250 West (north) towards Sandusky approximately 2 1/2 miles and Kalahari will be on the right.

From Cleveland, Ohio:
Take I-90 West to Exit 170 B. Continue to follow I-90 West, it will turn into Rt. 2. Follow Rt. 2 to the exit for Sandusky/Norwalk Rt. 250. Make a left onto Rt. 250. Kalahari will be approximately 1 mile down on the left.

From Dayton, Ohio:
Take I-75 North to exit 195, I-80/90 (Ohio Turnpike). Take I-80/90 East and exit at exit 118 (Rt. 250 Sandusky). Take Rt. 250 West (north) towards Sandusky approximately 2 1/2 miles and Kalahari will be on the right.

From Cincinnati, Ohio:
Take I-75 North to exit 169 for Rt. 13 North. Make a Left onto Rt. 13 North. Take Rt. 13 North to Rt. 250 West. Turn left onto Rt. 250 West and travel west to Kalahari, which will be on the right.

From Columbus, Ohio:
Take I-71 North to exit 169 (Rt. 13 North). Turn left onto Rt. 13 North. Follow Rt. 13 North to Rt. 250 West. Turn left onto Rt. 250 West. Follow Rt. 250 West to Kalahari, which will be on the right. Kalahari is approximately 2 1/2 miles north of the Ohio Turnpike.

Welcome to the 40th Annual Ohio Human Resource Conference, sponsored by the Ohio SHRM State Council. We are pleased to host this event and hope that you will enjoy ”HR: A League of Our Own” in a great venue to network with peers and an opportunity to learn leading-edge HR practices. Baseball is such a cool theme and we hope that you enjoy your time at the “ballpark!”On behalf of the Ohio SHRM State Council, I wish to thank our Chair Fred Eck, our Program Chair Heather Speer-Edwards, and all of the members of the outstanding conference committee! The entire group has prepared for nearly a year to make this conference happen. Our thanks for their contribution, dedication, and time to make this conference the best ever! You are all All-Stars!

The Ohio SHRM State Council, along with our 26 local affiliated SHRM chapters, is dedicated to leading, educating, and inspiring the over 12,000 HR professionals in Ohio and educating, serving as HR experts to, and positively impacting other business professionals in Ohio. The Ohio SHRM State Council is a non-profit organization and exists as an affiliate of The Society for Human Resource Management, the world’s largest association devoted to Human Resource Management. Membership is made up of approximately 50 volunteers who are elected or appointed to The Council and includes the Chapter Presidents of the 26 local SHRM affiliated chapters in Ohio.

The umires have given us the go-ahead to start the conference and we are ready to play at the “Ballpark at Kalahari!”

 Baseball is our theme this year and there are so many connections between the sport and our profession. We are glad that you are here for our exciting, baseball-oriented event otherwise known as the 40th Annual Ohio Human Resource Conference ! We have set a new attendance record and are thrilled to have such a terrific line up of talent presenting this year at the beautiful Kalahari Resort.
